Product Overview

Butyl tape uses butyl rubber and poly isobutylene as main raw materials and reconciles, squeezes into strip, covered with isolation paper. And coil it into roll shape. Through these steps, butyl tape is finished. Butyl sealant tape contains two types, one is single sided butyl tape, the other is double sided butyl tape. It has excellent adhesion to all kinds of material surfaces (color steel plate, steel, waterproof coiled material, cement, wood, PC, PE, PVC, EPDM, CPE materials). Thus it is also referred
to as self adhesive type sealing tape.

Operation Procedure

Step 1: Remove any excessive dirt/dust to ensure a good adhesive surface.

Step 2: Measure and cut the tape, align the tape.

Step 3: Remove the adhesion protector film.

Step 4: Apply even pressure on the tape, use a roller if needed.

Construction Instructions and Reminders:

It is recommended that after 24 hours after construction, it is recommended to meet the water, and do not tear it open after pasting.
It is recommended to do waterproofing in the construction of the water-facing surface, and the sand on the base surface is not recommended.
During construction, the glue and the base surface should be fully compacted and compacted, and no gaps should be left.
It is not recommended to apply to the base surface or container that needs to be soaked in water for a long time.
Due to the different temperatures in each area, in order to achieve the ideal waterproof effect, it is recommended that areas with low temperatures choose to construct when the temperature is higher at noon, or first expose the sun, or warm the room for a period of time, and press repeatedly after pasting, the longer the viscosity, the stronger the stickiness.

Tips：5cm wide is relatively narrow, please choose carefully. It is recommended to choose the wide size, all covering the construction compaction.
